The health risk environment is broad and complex and is set within a changing and challenging environment. The NHS Long-Term Plan sets the priorities for the new funding settlement announced in June 2018. It seeks to build on the excellent work undertaken so far and accelerate the transformation through the local leadership of Integrated Care Systems with a genuine focus on changing the service model to provide more personalised care outside of hospital settings. There is also a clear commitment to more investment in children’s services and the care of people with mental health needs, a learning disability and/or autism.
We understand the risks facing trusts around the growing demand for services, the recent years’ real-time funding reductions, and the pressures on staffing and inpatient beds. We recognise that the increase in demand for health services is an issue that has much broader implications for sectors outside the NHS, such as housing, policing, and social services.
Our team also has an in-depth understanding of Provider, Payer, and Regulator transformation initiatives in the United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia.
